How to reach Rennes?

By train :

By fly :

there are 3 small airports close to Rennes, one is located near Rennes, at Saint-Jacques-de-la-Landes, another is located about 120 km from Rennes, near Nantes, the last one is located at Dinard about 80 km from Rennes.
But Paris airports often provide more solutions (Ryanair or Easyjet Airlines for cheaper), then Rennes is reached by train (SNCF). We recommend to buy train tickets in advance.

With the same ticket, you can take the tramway line 1 which drops you in 10 minutes at the station of Nantes.
You can reach Rennes, from Nantes, by train, in about 1:30. Please note that hours are sometimes capricious !

  • From the airport of Dinard, there are Illenoo cars linking the airport to the city of Rennes. Plan 2 hours 30 ride between the airport (the Mayor of Pleurtuit) and stop Republic, in the center of Rennes. More details on the site : http://www.illenoo-services.fr/
